Following the public release of models like OpenAI’s GPT-3 and Stability AI’s Stable Diffusion, the barrier to creating sophisticated text, images, and even video has drastically lowered. This democratization, while offering immense creative potential, simultaneously introduces complex challenges previously confined to science fiction narratives.
Initially lauded for enhancing productivity and fostering novel artistic expressions, the proliferation of AI-generated media now necessitates a critical evaluation of its broader societal implications.
